Stamp Explorers
Stamp collecting is fun. And educational. And thanks to generous adults with some stamps to spare, it's also inexpensive for children.
Our Stamp Explorers youth area is designed to meet the needs of young collectors adding to their stamp collections. The area is staffed by volunteers who have worked with youngsters in the past and it includes structured activities and thousands of free stamps from which to choose. This year, our youth area will be in the lobby outside the main ballroom. As a result, parents and children who intend to only make use of our youth area do not have to pay the $5 fee to enter the ballroom where the dealers and exhibits are located.
Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or any other adult mentor is invited to look through the stamps with your child, however, these stamps were donated specifically for youth stamp collecting activities and are not available to the adult public.
If your child has any specific interest (like a country or topic), please email us at sestampexpo@gmail.com and advise us of what your child's interest is, and we will do our best to source that material and make sure it's available for your child's visit.
Donations of stamps or other philatelic material are always gratefully received, and may even be eligible for a tax deduction. Please write us at sestampexpo@gmail.com to advise us if you have material you can donate.
