2025 Show Theme
Each year, the organizing committee of the Southeastern Stamp Expo selects a theme for the show. Our theme manifests itself in our advertising, our commemorative show cover, a write-up in our show program, including the philatelic aspects of the theme, and, oftentimes, presentations and exhibits supporting the theme as well.
Our Show Theme for the 2025 Southeastern Stamp Expo is the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Postal System, with Benjamin Franklin as the first Postmaster General.
In 1775, before the Declaration of Independence was even signed, the Continental Congress turned the Constitutional Post into the Post Office of the United States, whose operations became the first—and for many citizens, the most consequential—function of the new government itself. Benjamin Franklin names first Postmaster General.

2019 - The 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing and the Centenary of Jackie Robinson's birth
2018 - The Centenary of United States Air Mail Service
2017 - The Opening of SunTrust Park, the new home of the Atlanta Braves
2015 - The opening of the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia
2014 - The Life and Times of Georgia native Ray Charles
