North Carolina Postal History Society
The North Carolina Postal History Society was formed in 1982 to promote, study, and educate the public about North Carolina Postal History. In 1986 the society was approved as Affiliate No. 155 of the American Philatelic Society. Non-profit status with the Internal Revenue Service was received in 1988 under section 501 (c)(3).

Current membership in the society is about 125. The society has traditionally met annually at the CHARPEX show in Charlotte, the last weekend in July. Annual dues are $15 per year. (Download application form)
The society publishes a quarterly journal called the North Carolina Postal Historian. Many other publications have been sponsored by the NCPHS.
The society maintains its own content-rich website, and postal history enthusiasts will enjoy looking through the pages of the site.
The NCPHS joined the Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs in 2019. Tony Crumbley serves as the society's federation representative.
