Dr. Thomas W. Broadhead Named Rowland Hill Award Honoree for 2016
The Board of Directors of the Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs are proud to announce the selection of Dr. Thomas W. Broadhead as the 2016 recipient of the Rowland Hill Award. The Rowland Hill Award was created in 2005 to honor those who have made significant lifetime contributions to philately, particularly in the Southeastern United States. An honoree is selected annually by a selection committee nominated by the SEFSC Board.
Tom is a gifted exhibitor, having won many national awards, including Single Frame Grand awards. His specialty area is France. He is also an acclaimed philatelic writer, having won the Barbara Mueller award for philatelic writing. He is currently the Vice President of the Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs.
Tom will receive his award at the Awards Dinner of the AmeriStamp/Southeastern Stamp Expo on January 30, 2016. For more information, view the press release.
